we are still delayed, and we have no idea for how long. we have racked up an enormous phone bill at our hostal, trying to find out what´s going on. earlier today they told us that all 6 of our bags were STILL at RDU, and would be coming in on a united flight. then we talked to someone else later that said unfortunately only one bag was found, the other 5 were still missing, and that united doesnt even fly into spain. :( today we made the most of it and saw the sights around our city, and we ended up being able to get our mind off it long enough to have fun, but now its 1030 at night on monday, and we are heading back to the hostal, yet again unsure if we will even be able to leave tomorrow, since it takes a full day to get to our next destination. please pray that we will be able to see some sort of glimmer of what God´s reasoning is for all of this, b-c right now it is very hard to stay positive. please also pray that we will be able to get out of spain soon, as it is MUCH more expensive here than where we are supposed to be going. also, please pray for all the people that are waiting for us, and all the stuff in those bags that are missing that have been so thoughtfully picked out for them by their family and friends. stay tuned for more updates, and again, thanks for praying. we are so thankful to be here all together safely, it could be so much worse. i had the idea that if we get our luggage soon, our first top ten list will be TOP TEN THINGS YOU MISS OUT OF YOUR BAG... but its way too close to home to laugh about it yet :) hopefully next update will be good news :) good night to you all! we love you! steve and erica :)
