This hit counter get incremented whenever someone calls the page. The downside about this hit counter is that it only stores full detail for a limited number of recent hits. Also, every page you want to use this hit counter on must be a php page. Also, it does not track screen resolution and bit depth but does a very good job of tracking bots. This works well with php tracker.
